An easy car paperwork organization solution
August 3, 2009 # 12:00 PM # Organization # No CommentOne overlooked compartment that is usually in need of decluttering and organization is the glove compartment of your car. If considering this brings to mind a cringe and then sheepish expression on your face, it’s time to get that area under control.
In an earlier post I talked about implementing the zone system when clearing out clutter in your car and one of the zones is the glove compartment. My initial solution in the glove compartment zone was an envelope to hold all the car paperwork I needed when I was driving. I quickly realized that stuffing an envelope to the point it no longer closed was not an efficient organization system!
So, I repurposed an old coupon organizer to keep my car paperwork organized. You know what I mean — the mini accordions that divide coupons into different types of items. It’s the perfect solution to keep documents like your insurance, registration, last oil change date, and maps organized and easy to find.
